AS-PL has added the D&V Electronics BSG-198, one of the most advanced test systems for Belt Starter Generator (BSG) technology, making it one of only a few companies in Europe to own one.
Production Director Michał Czarzasty and production engineers were trained on the device at D&V Electronics’ headquarters in Woodbridge, Canada. The BSG-198 extends the ALT-198 alternator test platform with BSG testing over CAN and LIN, delivers results faster and stores them for later configuration.
Czarzasty described owning the tester as both a distinction and a significant responsibility.
