In its first year AS-PL Italia in Moncalieri multiplied Italian sales, doubled pallet capacity and added a three-level mezzanine with 2,500 shelves.
AS-PL Italia, opened on 6 November 2019 in Moncalieri near Turin, has completed its first year. Over that time interest in AS-PL products in Italy grew several times over, boosting sales in the region.
The warehouse was rebuilt during the year: pallet places were doubled, a three-level mezzanine was added and 2,500 shelves were installed to hold every item in the range.
Chief Sales Officer Paweł Kotala stressed that service levels were maintained despite the pandemic, while Logistics Director Sebastian Wencel said the work to adapt the warehouse to rising order volumes had paid off.
