AS-PL has added 460 NOx sensors to its product database. These sensors are key components of SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems, which cut nitrogen oxide emissions, particularly from diesel vehicles.
An SCR system injects AdBlue into the catalyst to convert harmful nitrogen oxides into water and nitrogen. NOx sensors mounted before and after the catalyst continuously measure nitrogen oxide concentration, and this data is used to control engine operation and AdBlue dosing.
