At the AS-PL-sponsored final of the 20th Automobile Technology Olympics, 12 students competed in practical diagnostic tasks.
The final of the 20th Automobile Technology Olympics took place on 18 May 2019 at Robert Bosch’s Warsaw headquarters. In the AS-PL-sponsored final, 12 top vocational students faced two practical tasks: diagnosing a fault in a 2.0 TDI Common Rail engine and locating a fault in a car’s active safety systems.
A technical panel discussed electromobility, and an AS-PL representative spoke about expanding the product range and presented typical alternator and starter failures.
Jakub Jezierski from Poznań won the contest, and a school from Jarosław topped the team ranking. AS-PL funded prizes for the students and gave the best school a cross-section set of an alternator and starter.
