Joining German Economy Minister Habeck’s delegation to Algeria, MOLL signed a technology transfer and licence agreement with local producer Friction Tec.
MOLL Managing Director Dr. Klaus Eichhorn took part in the business delegation led by German Vice Chancellor and Economy Minister Robert Habeck to Algeria on 7–8 February 2024. During the visit MOLL signed a technology transfer and licence agreement with Friction Tec, an Algerian manufacturer of energy storage products.
The deal is part of MOLL’s strategy to build an “international licensing” business alongside its production for the automotive industry, special mobile applications and the aftermarket. In recent weeks the company had also concluded similar contracts with industrial partners in Colombia, Armenia, Qatar and the United Kingdom.
