MSG Equipment warned customers about scammers sending false payment details from e-mail addresses resembling the company’s official ones.
In April 2023 MSG Equipment issued a security warning to its customers. According to the company, fraudsters were using e-mail accounts resembling its official addresses to send incorrect bank and payment details.
The manufacturer asked customers to check the sender carefully whenever a message requests a funds transfer, and reminded them that only addresses on its official domains are used for correspondence. Anyone in doubt about payment details was advised to contact the sales managers directly.
