MSG Equipment introduced the MS-39008 (208-F) FlexRay cable for diagnosing Mercedes-Benz electric steering racks with the MS561 controller.
Modern vehicles contain many electronic control units exchanging data continuously. FlexRay, the successor to CAN, offers speeds up to 10 Mbit/s and a fault-tolerant two-channel design, and is widely used by German carmakers.
Diagnosing FlexRay steering racks requires special cables that connect the unit under test to the MS561 controller and handle synchronisation and code transmission. For this purpose MSG Equipment introduced the MS-39008 (208-F) cable for Mercedes-Benz racks.
- reading and clearing fault codes
- live data and access to ECU information
- coding
The cable applies to models from 2016 onwards such as the AMG GT (X290) and the W205-series C-Class.
