MSG Equipment introduced the MS-39009 FlexRay cable for diagnosing electric steering racks in the BMW 5 (G30), 7 (G12) and 8 (G15) Series.
MSG Equipment expanded its range of FlexRay cables for EPS rack diagnostics with the MS-39009 (209-F). The cable connects electric steering racks from the BMW 5 Series (G30), 7 Series (G12) and 8 Series (G15) to the MS561 controller.
Because each rack ECU has its own code and synchronisation, a model-specific cable is needed for data transmission. With the rack on or off the vehicle, MS-39009 allows:
- reading and clearing fault codes, live data
- reading ECU information, coding and software updates
- sensor calibration
The cable is designed for rack types BW114, BW119, BW125 and BW127.
