In early 2021 LOKI developers added navigation installation for the Tesla Model Y, opening the model to workshops outside the official service network.
The Tesla Model Y was unveiled in March 2019 and entered mass production a year later. Built on the Model 3 platform, this mid-size electric crossover is technically very close to the sedan, yet in some markets servicing it was long limited to official centres.
At the beginning of 2021 the developers of the LOKI diagnostic tool made navigation installation available for the Model Y, so cars built for the US market can plot routes in Europe as well.
The LOKI team aims to extend diagnostic and service capabilities for the Model Y so independent workshops can work with it fully. MSG Equipment supplies the device as an authorized LOKI dealer.
