MSG Equipment presented new functions of its Loki diagnostic scanner, an alternative to Tesla Toolbox 3 for servicing Tesla vehicles.
Servicing Tesla vehicles can be difficult for ordinary workshops because it requires brand-specific equipment. Tesla’s paid online tool, Toolbox 3, is not always sufficient due to its limited functions, sparse repair documentation and lack of technical support.
MSG Equipment’s Loki diagnostic scanner gained Toolbox-like capabilities with its latest software update:
- Enabling service mode, switching from eSIM to an external SIM and resetting passwords regardless of firmware,
- Plug-ins for hidden Model 3/Y configuration settings and Model X key fob pairing.
Loki owners receive free technical advice, and the MSG training centre offers in-depth Tesla diagnostics and repair training, including high-voltage safety.
