MSG Equipment’s three-day course works with alternators and starters from Bosch, Valeo, Denso and others using MS002/MS004 benches and regulator testers.
MSG Equipment’s starter and alternator course combines theory and practice in specially equipped classrooms.
- Day 1: alternator design, classification and major failures; bench diagnostics and repair on units from Bosch, Valeo, Magneti Marelli, Denso, Mitsubishi, Hitachi and others
- Day 2: starter design, maintenance and faults; starter diagnostics and repair
- Day 3: final assessment, skills practice and repair specifics of particular units
Training uses the MS002 COM/MS004 COM benches, the MS012 regulator tester, the MS013 COM adapter, the MS014 stator and rectifier tester and a contact welder. Catalogue work and a factory tour are included.
