In 2016, MSG Equipment launched the MS004 COM test bench for diagnosing alternators, starters and voltage regulators.
Development focused on power, which was increased to 100 amps, so the compact unit can test electrical units of both cars and most trucks. Key features:
- Needs no extra workspace and fits on a mechanic’s workbench,
- Testing a removed alternator, starter or regulator takes up to five minutes,
- Short-circuit protection ensures safe operation.
