After completing testing, MSG Equipment began series production of the MS005 bench, featuring a thermal camera and automatic belt tensioning.
Having completed its testing campaign, MSG Equipment started large-scale production of the MS005 starter and alternator test bench. It can diagnose non-standard and high-power units and allows more units to be tested per unit of time.
- Tests 12/24V starters and alternators, alternators with vacuum pumps and 12V lead-acid batteries,
- Examines 12V alternators under loads up to 300A with oscillogram display,
- Manual and semi-automatic modes with a customisable test report,
- Automatic belt/chain tensioning and a thermal camera to monitor unit temperature.
Future software updates were planned to add testing of start-stop and 48V alternators.
