The MS005A alternator and starter bench software now includes 48 V starter-generators from mild-hybrid Audi, BMW, Ford, Hyundai and Kia models.
MSG Equipment updated the software of its MS005A alternator and starter diagnostic bench. New 48 V alternators have been added to the model list and can now be easily found and diagnosed.
The new starter-generators include units from:
- Audi A6/A7/A8/Q7/Q8 with 3.0 TDI and 3.0 TFSI MHEV engines
- BMW 3 Series, 5 Series and X3 with B47 and B48 MHEV engines
- Ford Focus IV, Fiesta VIII, Puma II and Transit Custom 2.0 Eco Hybrid
- Hyundai Tucson IV and Kia Sportage V
The company continues to work on further updates for its equipment.
