In spring 2019 MSG Equipment held a social media giveaway of the MS013 COM, a tester for 12 V voltage regulators.
From 16 April to 31 May 2019 MSG Equipment held a giveaway of an MS013 COM tester among its Instagram, Facebook and YouTube followers. Entrants had to follow one of the accounts and meet the conditions of the giveaway post; the winner was drawn at random.
The MS013 COM is designed to test the performance of 12 V vehicle voltage regulators. Its built-in physical interfaces let it check different regulator types and measure:
- Regulated voltage and alternator load
- Data protocol and communication speed
- Regulator type and, for COM terminals, the presence and type of errors
