In February 2021 MSG Equipment announced a lower price for the MS031, which tests 12 V and 24 V starter solenoids, measuring winding currents and contact resistance.
The MS031 is a starter solenoid tester designed for workshops that repair starters and alternators. It checks 12 V and 24 V solenoids either mounted on the starter or on their own.
- Pull-in and hold winding currents
- Open-circuit and short-circuit faults in the winding
- Power contact resistance
Its compact size and intuitive interface mean no special training is needed: connect the solenoid and the result appears within seconds. The MS0311 clamp adds operator comfort. In February 2021 MSG Equipment announced that the MS031 was available at a reduced price.
