A new DC-DC converter lets the MS111 test compressors with 24 V clutches without an external power supply, and new software adds an automatic diagnostic mode.
MSG Equipment updated the MS111 bench, which tests AC compressors running on R134a and R1234yf refrigerants. Thanks to a DC-DC converter developed in-house, compressors with 24 V clutches can now be connected directly to the bench instead of requiring a separate power supply.
The new software adds an automatic diagnostic mode split into four steps:
- Seal tightness check
- Valve and/or clutch check
- Performance test
- Noise test
Results can be saved and printed, which makes analysis and customer reporting easier.
