MSG Equipment’s move into manufacturing began with the MS502M steering rack test stand, built for Master Service’s own workshops.
MSG Equipment’s path into equipment manufacturing started with Master Service, a car repair company that needed equipment for its own workshops. Its engineers developed the MS502M steering rack test stand as their first product; after successful trials in the Master Service workshop, the stand went into production for sale.
The MS502M lets technicians detect hydraulic leaks, check housing and component integrity and take readings while simulating vehicle movement. Key features include:
- A tray for draining fluid from the rack after testing,
- Operation without special training,
- Compatibility with all steering rack models.
At the end of 2018 the company also ran a limited-time campaign offering a gland removal collet as a gift with the stand.
