Specialised workshops focus on one area and, despite a narrow service list, can deliver high quality in it with the latest equipment.
Specialised workshops work in a single chosen area. The model comes from the USA, where about half of such centres focus on bodywork; Europe has many as well, though with a less narrow focus.
These shops offer one type of work, such as maintenance, diagnostics, tyre, wheel or transmission repair. A short service list lets them mechanise some operations, and they often invest in the newest, most efficient equipment.
General workshops that accept any make and problem, by contrast, may lack model-specific knowledge, equipment and skilled staff for complex faults.
